Board Registered Interventionist and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor

Axis CEO, Darrin Taylor, is a Board Registered Interventionist, a Certified Intervention Professional, and a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor. He is a graduate of Queen’s University, a member of the Association of Intervention Specialists, and he sits on the Ethics Committee for the Association of Cooperative Clinical Therapists of Canada.

Darrin brings a diverse professional background and a great deal of passion to his work. He is in demand as an interventionist throughout North America to facilitate interventions on behalf of families and employers. At Axis, Darrin also offers a variety of services to his clients including assessments, family/individual counselling, treatment placement, patient transfer services, continuing care group therapy, recovery monitoring and drug testing.

Darrin draws on his personal experience with the disease of addiction conveying a firm yet genuinely compassionate approach. Thoroughly preparing families and supporting them through the intervention, treatment, and recovery process is a top priority at Axis. When required, Darrin works closely with treatment facilities acting as a liaison between them and families while the patient is in treatment. An experienced and versatile interventionist, Darrin specializes in working with young adults, professionals, older adults, and high profile individuals.
