Board Registered Interventionist and Registered Therapeutic Counsellor

Darrin Taylor is a Certified Intervention Professional, a Master Therapeutic Counsellor and a Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor. He is a graduate of Queen’s University, Ethics Chair at the Association of Intervention Specialists and is a member of the Canadian Addiction Counsellor Certification Federation. He also serves on the Steering Committee at The BC Centre for Substance Use.

Darrin brings a diverse professional background and a great deal of passion to his work. He is in demand as an interventionist throughout North America to facilitate interventions on behalf of families and employers. At Axis, Darrin also oversees a variety of services including outpatient treatment, assessments, family/individual counselling, treatment placement, patient transfer services, continuing care group therapy, recovery monitoring and drug testing. With a broad knowledge around addiction in the workplace, Darrin has helped many employers of all sizes develop, implement and manage effective cost saving programs to address the impact of substance abuse in their workforce.
